What's up guys - today I heard this isn't on the menu anymore - I'm very disappointed to hear that, especially with the rapid proliferation of OpenID.
OpenID is still in the adoption phase and is becoming more and more popular, as large organizations like AOL, Microsoft, Sun, Novell, etc. begin to accept and provide OpenIDs. Today it is estimated that there are over 160-million OpenID enabled URIs with nearly ten-thousand sites supporting OpenID logins.
OpenID is becoming the defacto standard for distributed web authentication, and BungeeConnect needs to support it; I can't see a better route than with the DWA framework.
